Wordless Wednesday or also Known as Name that Fruit

I took this photo a couple of years ago at a market in Barcelona, Spain. Just thought it was interesting. The market was fascinating and we spent at least a couple of hours in it. This fruit was on display there or at least I am guessing that it's a fruit. I tried to look this up on the internet but couldn't find anything on it. Has anyone seen or tried this fruit before? You guys know I'm bad at the wordless part of Wordless Wednesday. LOL

I wonder what that fruit is? I hope somebody knows and comments, lol! BTW, I watched Atonement last night and it was so sad--but well done.

Okay, if someone actually comes up with the name of that fruit, you have to share it. It'll be driving me crazy now. lol

And there's a reason I don't do "Wordless Wednesdays". Heaven knows, if I'm blogging, I'm talking. ha!

No clue. It looks like lemon poppyseed ice-cream served in a red pepper. That does not sound good, does it?

A bit of Google image sleuthing led me to this page, which says that this fruit is a Dragon Fruit. Until I saw it, I was pretty sure it was a filled pepper too. :)

How amazing that you have been such cool places and seen such cool things. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Now I feel all prepped for some bizarre game show where they will ask us what that fruit is and I WILL KNOW THE ANSWER! yeahhhhh!

And I will thank you on TV.
