Opening Day and an Award

Yea, it's the Cincinnati Red's Opening Day today! Why am I so excited? Because the start of the baseball season is a really big deal here in Cincy. There's a parade and people take off of work to go to the game, it's like a holiday around here. I do not have tickets for the game today but my youngest daughter is going. The weather on opening day is a little iffy sometimes. Two years ago, my sweetie and I went and lasted all of one inning because it was raining and very cold. There's something weird about drinking hot chocolate at a baseball game. LOL Anyway, it also means it is one step closer to warmer weather. Let's hope the Red's win today! And my good buddy Kat from justabeachkat gave me this great award the other day. Kat has been a great blogging friend. When I first started blogging and didn't know how to do certain things she was more then willing to help me with things. Thanks Kat!
