Yea, it's the Cincinnati Red's Opening Day today! Why am I so excited? Because the start of the baseball season is a really big deal here in Cincy. There's a parade and people take off of work to go to the game, it's like a holiday around here. I do not have tickets for the game today but my youngest daughter is going. The weather on opening day is a little iffy sometimes. Two years ago, my sweetie and I went and lasted all of one inning because it was raining and very cold. There's something weird about drinking hot chocolate at a baseball game. LOL Anyway, it also means it is one step closer to warmer weather. Let's hope the Red's win today!

I didn't know anything about baseball until my boys started playing and now it is one of my favorite sports to watch (except on TV - hate TV sports).
I'm glad your daughter's gallbladder isn't more serious.
Just want to let you know that I've deleted my blog. Long story... but my identity has been compromised. You can send me an e-mail if you want the long story.
Hi Joan,
I had no idea baseball was such a big deal in Cincy. I know it is in Chicago and St. Louis though. I am a born and raised St. Louis Cardinal fan and even though I live in Ohio I still have to be loyal to them. It's my dad's fault.
Hope your daughter stays warm and has a blast.
Hugs,
LeAnn :)
I've always loved Baseball...the Cubs, the Reds and the Yankees...I pull for them all...I once had a major crush on Johnny Bench...heart still beats a little faster over him, lol...I loved your post today. Congratulations on your award!!! You deserved it...hugs
