Brenda's Photo Challenge ~ Holiday Decorations

It's time to show all things holidays for Brenda's Photo Challenge. Kim from Caffiene is Life(I just love her blog's name) is our hostess this time. And since I have been showing Christmas decorations non stop lately, I thought I would share a few fun ones of our time this week that we spent in Hilton Head and just outside of the island in Old Town Bluffton. Thanks Kim for this fun challenge
hi santa My friend Sherra(who lives in Hilton Head) took the girls and I to some fun shops in Bluffton. In all of the time we have been going there I never have visited this area. I just loved this antique, boutique shop and this old bike with a Santa on it. I don't know why but I liked the look of the place.
this is for you mom
Every time I see a Betty Boop I think of my Mom. She loved Betty Boop. Do you ever see things like this that remind you of someone, especially someone who has passed on? Anyway, I thought Betty was too cute in her Santa hat and Maddie loved her too. We ate lunch at this restaurant and it was delish!
maddie can we leave yet This one is a little dark and probably not the best photo ever. LOL But if you click on it, you can see Maddie playing in this holiday tunnel, really she did not want to leave this magical tunnel. Anyway, these are my photos for the challenge this time but really any of my last ten posts could have qualified for the challenge because I am having so much fun taking photos this holiday season. I'll be by to see everyone's photos soon. I'm off to Christmas shop early this morning and hope to be done today. Keep your fingers crossed that I can mark everyone off my list. There comes a point where you just don't want to go into another store. Did I really say that???? LOL Have a good one! Thanks again Kim!

Those are great! I love em! I think I learned to ride a bike on one almost like that one. I was 4, nearly killed my fool self pushing it up to the porch to climb on and then rolling down a hill to end up in a ditch. It only took about 3 times in that ditch and I learned to sit on the bar and peddle.

Ah, you were clever to look for holiday decorations while you were traveling! Beautiful pictures, and how sweet that you saw a reminder of your mom!

Like Brenda, I'm reminded also of learning to ride a bike like that. Fell off twice, each time breaking one of my front teeth. hahaha

Love all your pictures today and from days past. Maddie is such a fun little girl. :)

Hi Joan, haha, your picture of betty boop was the beginning of a long journey through the web, which I started at youtube watching betty videos, and now I am back on your blog again :)
Love your nice Christmas pictures, and the tunnel is special!
Have a nice weekend!

Oh yes, it's amazing how something...a smell, a taste, a photo or a giant Betty Boop can bring back memories.

Cute photos.

Hugs!
Kat

What great photos. That bike looks so cute, though I don't think that I'd like to ride it and have Santa staring at my chest...LOL

I know that I am VERY late with my entry but it's up now. Just got snowed-under with parties and work. I hope Santa still comes :-)
