Tuesday Funnies!!

I received these in an e-mail and thought they were funny! My diet and exercise program has been going downhill, so I need to get motivated fast. My sister June who walks with me has ditched me for Las Vegas this week. LOL I find Summer a hard time for me in terms of my diet because there are just so many good things to eat this time of year. But I am hoping to get a handle on this fast. LOL My hubby is doing great, thanks for all of your sweet comments and prayers. But really any kind of chest pain is nothing to fool around with, alot of times acid reflux mimics heart attacks. There are so many of us with a family history of heart disease so never delay when or if you even think there might be a problem. Not much else going on around here (going to the ER was quite enough). I am just trying to catch up with my work around the house and my travel work. Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!

I'm laughing till it hurts lol...you do know that's a mirror at the end of the counter, indeed! My GOD that was funny...and too true lol...I'm doing my best to take off a few pounds (I need to ditch 30 but 20 sounds so doable I'm opting for 10...)

well...I just had a wonderful laugh...or should I say several big loud laughs!!! loved the cartoons...
I am so glad that your sweetie was just having old age symptoms and not heart problems...
Make sure he gets the rest of the tests done...
nothing is as exciting as a baby on the way...looks like you had a fun shower (though I'm sure your sweetie was glad when it was over)
Hugs to you,
Mimi

Hi Joan, those are cute, I laughed out loud at these cartoons. I am so glad that your dh is okay and passed all tests with flying colors. You are right, one never knows about these things and I hope the rest of his tests go as well. It looks like those in the pictures where having a nice time at the shower. Congrats on the coming of a new little one.
Have a great afternoon.
Hugs,
Celestina

The fourth one down is my favorite. lol

I didn't do too bad with my eating while we were on vacation. I actually did better than I thought - I was terrified to get on the scales, but it was okay. (Wish I'd known how good I was doing - I might have eaten more. lol)

I'm having a tough time getting in my exercise, too. It's just too bloomin' hot here right now. I may have to start walking at midnight just so I don't collapse from the heat. :)

Thank you for sharing this! Very funny! A good laughter lengthens life, we say in Norway.
Thank you also for your kind comment to me recently.

I am so in love with the crouton on the sundae!! But, they're all very funny. I definitely need to exercise more, and my biggest downfall is snacking at night.

There was an article I was reading the other night about how different the symptoms are in men and women re heart attack. I believe, though, that like with your hubby it's best not to take any chances at all!

These are terrific cartoons. I know someone who will get a kick out of them. Love the one of the Dr. talking to the man about his choice of 1 hour excercise or 24 dead...Point well taken.
Diets are so hard, especially in the hot summer when everything I shouldn't eat sounds sooooo good!

love the funnies...they really hit home, I need to start walking more, but Summer is always the worse time for me too...not enough hours in the day! Glad to hear your hubby is doing ok and that he went to the ER...better to be safe than sorry.

hope you are having a good week ~

That second one from the top ~ the diner mirror conversation is one of my all time favorites. I cut it out when I first saw it. So typical! Sometimes I wonder who's looking at me in the mirror.
