Puppies & Babies

Maddie enjoying her ice cream

Coco the wonder dog

Okay, so it's really one puppy and one baby. Is there anything cuter than a puppy and a baby? The first picture is of my granddaughter Maddie enjoying her ice cream cone this afternoon. She's very serious when it comes to eating her ice cream cone and she doesn't like it if you laugh because of all of the ice cream on her face and body. It was too funny.

The second picture is of Coco, my sister June's new puppy. She really belongs to June's daughter, Allison. June & I walk most mornings and Coco is the newest member of our walking group. She's a shitz tzu puppy and she only weighs two pounds. She should get to be around ten to twelve pounds when she's full grown. Coco tries real hard to keep up with us but she usually gets tired and June has to carry her. People stop and want to see this cute little dog all along the trail. She really is the most adorable little thing.

Coco, the wonder dog, just peed in my family room - good thing she is so cute!!! Love the picture of Maddie - got it on my cell when we were driving to go to dinner.

Gotta love babies and ice cream! And if the dog were allowed, I'm sure he would love to clean up the ice cream on the baby's face. :-)

Well they're both just adorable! I have a phobia about being sticky so it's hard for me to watch babies eat ice cream cones. But, sometimes, when they're really getting into it, I sneak a peak. This was one of those times.

Coco is too cute. We have neighbors who walk their 2 Yorkies. Or should I say the Yorkies walk themselves. Chain on, dragging behind them, other than the part they carry in their mouth. Their little legs must move a hundred times every 10 seconds. By the time they come back around - yep - carried in their owners arms.

p.s. - I love that you walk with your sister every night. That's great!

Love,
Julie

Now that IS a cute puppy - but Maddie is the prize winner here for cuteness! lol I love it that she doesn't like for you to laugh at her when she gets ice cream all over her. That's funny. I can just picture her expression. ha!

Hope to "talk" to you soon!

Thanks for visiting my blog for the Giveaway! It's so nice to meet you! Boy, am I collecting new friends from the north/east! My hubby is from Reading, PA. We now live in Southern California. My hubby misses the food but not shoveling snow.

I can see that you are new to blogging, too. This community is growing so quickly! It's exciting, isn't it?

Best Blessings,
KJ

Adorable pictures...both of them! I can't imagine a two pound dog... I'll be she does have to run to stay caught up! :-)

We have a shih tzu too. We bred her recently and just sold the last pup. Funny, our mom is white with brown (tiny little thing) and the dad was gray. Every single pup was black with a white dot under their chins. Oh, they were so darling scooting along on our hardwood floors. Until, of course, they tinkeled - which is all the time. =) Blessings... Hey. I just read your comment on my blog about 'Walking Her Home,' by Mark Schultz. I heard that yesterday morning on the radio and just bawled! It reminded me of my friends Bob and Bev that I've written about. Bev was 54 and just died on the 21st after a long battle with cancer and he was right there, just like the husband in that song. It was a little too much for me right on the heels of that, but it is a great song...you are right!

Hey. Don't feel bad about mentioning that song..that wasn't my intent. I LOVE Mark Schultz and know his songs tell stories, so I knew something was coming! :-)
