Hello from Alaska! It's cold and rainy up here but it is so beautiful. I am at a internet cafe' here in the city and it's been a great trip so far except for the rough seas on the way up from Vancouver. We hit 30 foot waves at times and 3/4th of the ship was sick including me, so that was not a good time. I've seen some whales but no bald eagles yet. This truly is a beautiful state and I can't wait to share some of my pictures. I've never seen landscape like this before and am blown away by the beauty of it all everyday. I don't have much time on this computer, the stores are calling my name. LOL. No bears have gotten me so far and I have not fallen in the ocean. I also can't wait to catch up with everyone blogs when I get back. Hope you are having a great week!

Sorry about the bout of sea-sickness Joan...but I knew you would LOVE Alaska...it is mesmerizing! I can't say enough good about it! Good luck with finding a bald-eagle...you should see one sooner or later...glad you got to see the elusive whale! Keep snapping...pics...can't wait to hear about your trip!
