Sweet Little Sydney

Sweet little Sydney was baptized yesterday at our church. She has such a sweet disposition and was so good through the whole thing considering that this is a big church and there were alot of babies that were being baptized or dedicated. Our great niece was being dedicated at the same time. Great Grandma C came in from Florida just for the occasion to see two of her great grandbabies baptized. Here's a few photos, I was not happy with any of my photos at the church. I don't know if it was the lighting or if I am just getting picky but no one had any good shots.
Afterwards we grilled out some portabella mushrooms burgers at our house with the crashed potatoes from the PW's website(try them, they are wonderful) and had some almond pillow cookies for dessert. A very good day................

The parents had a little cookie made up with both babies names on it. Jaycee Rae is our great niece and Sydney Ann is our grandbaby.

Aunt Stephanie is holding Jaycee and Great Grams(GG) is holding Sydney. Stephanie was Sydney's Godmother.

Since there were so many babies and it was crowded, they would put each baby's photo up on a big screen as they were being baptized or dedicated.

Everyone introduced themselves and told about their family. There was one family there that adopted a little Chinese girl, who was abandoned when she was 7 months old because she had a health problem and because she was a girl. So sad, but this young family adopted her and she is healthy and growing and beautiful.

And here's Papa with his special little girl on her special day. Anyway, I am so behind in my blog reading so I am hoping to catch up and see what everyone has been up to soon. I think I have a problem with my time management. :-)
