Just Chillin'

I've been chillin' with my sweetie here in Hilton Head. My sister Judy and her friends left very early Friday morning and then I picked Mike up from the airport and we've just been relaxing. We had decided before we came here that this trip was going to be all about just hanging out and spending some quality time together. But before he came in my sister Judy and I went shopping at the Salty Dog and I bought a few t shirts for my grandbabies. The crazy birds in the photo above are outside of the Salty Dog and they make alot of noise. The red one was very vocal.
Okay, so what do you think the chances are of getting all of my grandbabies in a photo wearing their Salty Dog T shirts and everyone being happy and still? LOL
This photo is of Signe's bakery and cafe here on the island. I took Judy here so she could get a piece of their key lime pound cake. They are well known for their pound cakes, I might try their new flavor one called thunder and lightning, it's a lemon pound cake with dark chocolate pieces in it. Doesn't that sound good and isn't this just the cutest little place?
Before the girls left we went to eat at the Old Oyster Factory and this was the view from the restaurant. The marshland is so pretty here. I had fun with my sister and her friends and I was glad they didn't mind me crashing their 50th birthday celebrations. So I have a good book to read and I'm going for a walk on the beach later on and just hang out. I could get used to this. LOL Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

I'm so envious of all your trips to Hilton Head---your descriptions look and sound marvelous!
I'm sure there' an excellent chance of getting the grandbabies in a photo with their little t-shirts, but as for all three being happy and still, maybe not so much, lol! Enjoy your time with Mike, and happy birthday to your sister!

I have definitely spent a lot of time at the Salty Dog - do you say "hi" to everyone at home on the webcam? I have also eaten at the Oyster Factory. But I have never been to Signes. I will have to keep that one in mind!

Those t-shirts are so cute. I hope you're able to get a photo of them wearing them. Oh girl, bring me a slice of that thunder and lightning cake. It sounds so yummy! Have a wonderful, restfull, memory making time.

Hi Joan, We enjoyed having you along with us. Deb and Barb were commenting on how great it was that we actually seemed to like each other being sisters and all. Barb was quite envious since she has no sister; just three brothers. They enjoyed talking to you. Thanks again for all your help with our trip. We really loved everything about it; even if it was to celebrate our 50th birthdays :)
