A Blubbering Mess

I've always have loved this photo. It makes me feel peaceful just looking at it. It came on my Dell laptop. Anyway, I've been feeling the need to go somewhere this peaceful lately. To be honest with you guys, menopause symptoms have been kicking my butt this week. First I'm having problems sleeping and then my face breaks out in huge red pimples. They look like lighthouse beacons screaming "look at me on the face of a 52 year." LOL And then because of the lack of good sleep and too much caffeine I have become this blubbering crying mess. Dr. Doogie Howser, aka my ob/gyn tells me this too shall pass. Ha, I like to have something passed on to him(oops, not very nice). Just kidding. I'll be fine, just need to get me some zzzz's and I'll be back to my semi blubbering self. Since I was up at 530am again this morning I did get to see the moon, it was gorgeous, all orange and round but I could not get a good photo of it. If anyone knows how to take a photo of the moon, will you please tell me? My photos I tried to take of it looked just like a blubbering mess(hey just like me) LOL Okay I'm done with my little whining jig, now on to fun stuff. I've been making jewelry again, I don't know why I stopped because I really did enjoy this hobby. But there are so many hobbies I enjoy and once I get all my photos in order I want to make some scrapbooks for my kids and grandkids but anyway back to jewelry making. I strictly do this for fun and only know how to do simple projects. I have done more complex things but not in awhile. Anyway, I was experimenting with making key chains this week. The first two in the photo were just practice ones and I will probably take them apart and restring them but the last one with my name, I really liked and have put it on my keychain. What do you think? Do you think people would like the name one as a Christmas present? It's all swarovski crystal and sterling and I can put any charm at the bottom, I just like starfish. I am making my daughter Melissa ones with Sydney and Maddie's name on it. Anyway, hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I'm off to run some errands and then have lunch with my Dad. Let's just hope nothing sets off the blubbering mess girl today. LOL

I love your keychains and they'd make perfect gifts!!

My face has been breaking out lately, too. Makes me sooooo happy. Nothing like having ginormous pimples come out on your chin to make you really get into the role of "wicked witch", you know what I mean? Although - while I thought it couldn't get any better than the chin warts, getting two HUGE blemishes on either side of my nose - AT THE SAME TIME - has shown me that life can indeed, get better. The tingling skin and overheated body have also given me cause to think I'm suffering from perimenopause. Lucky for me, I know it's just depression so I can accept these things as symptoms of my lack of joy in life. ha.ha.

I hope you get over this particular menopausal "bump in the road" soon and get to feeling back to "normal". I feel for you....

They're adorable Joan! I shocked though that yours isn't all PINK! LOL I think they'll make great gifts. Or maybe a personalized giveaway? If so, put my name in ten times for being the first to enter. Hehehe!

Girl...I so know what you mean about "mental pause"'s kicking my booty! Big time!

They are beautiful Miz Joan!! Of course anyone would be happy and proud of them, especially knowing they were made with love.

I understand about not sleeping, for me it's not being able to go to sleep until I've exhausted myself then I'm up early when the grands get here. My sister, the nurse, told me that she takes 2 benedryl tablets, her doc said they won't hurt even if she has to take them every night to sleep. So that's what I do a few nights a week just so I can have that much rest.

Awww, the old menopause thing. Yep, I'm dealing with it too. I hate the sleepless nights, that's one of my worst symptoms. I haven't slept all night in a couple of years. I'd love to find a solution for that too.

Love your keychains and agree that they will make terrific gifts from you.
Don't want to rub it in but thank goodness I'm through all that. To sleep again and not break out in a sweat when its 40 degrees is a blessing. Hang in there. The light at the end of the tunnel does come. Just bring extra tissues when you are out in public.

Love your keychains! And yes they make great gifts. Really like the personalized touch.

About the menopause thing-----
After only a short time in the perimenopause stage, I ended up with a total hysterectomy and I remember VERY clearly the night my harmones were all gone and Menopause hit with a fury! I had heard of night sweats and hot flashes, but that first night was a wild night. My hubby couldn't figure out why the covers had to be thrown completely off the bed, not just off of me. And it was early February. 18 months later and a very low dose of estrogen and I've learned to throw covers off just me. My doc recommends 1 cup of Soymilk a day.

And I'm a firm believer in an occasional dose of Tylenol PM when I REALLY need some ZZZZ's.

Have a good weekend.

I love beaded bracelts, and your keychains are wonderful---bright, light, and cheery!
Menopause kicked in early for me at 42(related to having my tubes tied at age 35 and a c-section)so I went throug it without really knowing at first what the heck was going on! This too shall pass--but having sdaid that, be sure to do whatever it takes to make your life more comfortable. Really.
How was lunch with your dad?

I am serious about getting together so you & Judy can teach us how to bead. I think it would be fun!! When I get back from Disney I will organize it! Allison wants to learn too.

{{{hugs}}} for the changes going on. I went through mentalpause all at once with a hysterectomy. Guess I still have problems with it all. At least, that's my story and I'm sticking to it, LOL!

Lovely keychains! I would LOVE to have one (hint, hint - hahaha), so they would make fantastic presents.
