Julie from Nunnies Attic has a little name tag game going so I thought I'd play along. Just go to Amazon.com click on books then advanced search, type your first name in title and choose a cute and meaningful book cover and post it.
Okay so the selection for Joan consist alot of Joan of Arc or Joan Crawford so choosing between Mommy Dearest (no more wire hangers) or a saint is a no brainer. I always loved the story of Joan of Arc when I was growing up. Who knew that Mark Twain wrote a book on her? And it says on Amazon that he considered this book not only his most important work but his best. He spent twelve years in research for this book and many months in France. This is pretty interesting stuff and something I never knew.

What a fun idea! I'll have to go over and try that for myself.
Actually, I just stopped over to see how your "Giving Thanks" list was coming. It's growing! Good job! We have lots to be thankful for, don't we? =)
Have a great weekend, Joan!
Oh i might just go to that site and see what they come up with for my name.....

I already knew you were a saint!
Love,
Julie
I haven't tried it yet, but I will.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs!

I agree Joan of Arc seems to be a great match!
I did a quick search and didn't come up with a lot of choices. I did find one book, but it actually is a sad description of me as I felt growing up. Not sure I want to go there!
Thank you for your comment on my blog! I always enjoy meeting new friends!
This sounds fun...I'm headed to check it out right now!
Have a great week!

I never knew that mark Twain wrote about Joan of Arc. I think I will have to check that one out.
I need to try that - have a great weekend - see you soon.
Now that is interesting and I had no idea! This was a fun tag.
I never knew this about Mark Twain...see we learn something from these meme's after all!
I'm glad you participated!
Hi, Joan, thanks for stopping by. I know, I got tired of my longer hair too, so I doubt it will ever be long again. Now I understand why most older women have short hair!
I'll have to check out the book title thing. My name is pretty unusual, so there's probably not a lot out there, although there is a book named Rhoda tha someone gave me & it was pretty cute.
xo,
Rhoda
Well I don't know how I found you either, but I'm glad that I did and look forward to visiting often. You drop by again anytime!
When I did this, a book called "Kari the Elephant" popped up. Yeah. Nice. Luckily it didn't have a picture. It did, however, prevent me from wanting to try that again. lol
