Monday Evening Photo Dump!!

I missed posting this morning so it has to be a Monday evening photo dump today!! Another beautiful week here in Ohio and by the way I have no idea why my signature is way up there and not below this post but it wouldn't let me move it so it stays where it is for now!! Lots of family time this past week.  What could be better?!!  Miss Maddie turns 6 years old this week.  I can't believe how big she is getting. She starts kindergarten this year.  She is the sweetest little girl and I hope she loves her new school!!  Kind of makes me sad but she's excited!! Hope everyone is doing well and have a wonderful week!!

Monday Morning Photo Dump!!

It's been a great first week of August here in Cincinnati!! I spent time with friends and family all week..what more could a girl ask for?  Savannah and I went to the ice cream shop and had yummy ice cream, well I did, she's not quite ready for that yet!! :-) I got her a new binky......LOL.....we had some gorgeous days here and I just love the Cincinnati skyline.  I met two of my girls in an area here in Cincy called OTR and we listened to the symphony and opera and watched the ballet. I truly love this city!! And one of my very best friends is leaving for Italy soon so I went to a going away party for her. She'll be gone awhile but I'm so excited for her and all the new adventures that wait for her!!  This week looks to be just as much fun!! Did I mention I love Summer?  :-)   Have a great week friends!!

Monday Morning Instagram Dump!!

Summer days go by way too fast for me!! This past week I spent time swimming with my babies, getting beautiful sunflowers for my kitchen, cleaning up after big storms rolled through Cincy and dumped all my lawn furniture in the pool, having dinner with good friends and of course watching the Olympics!! Who is watching the Olympics and what is your favorite part so far?  I loved the archery and of course the swimming!  Have a great week friends!

Monday Morning Photo Dump!!

Good Monday morning!!!  I hope everyone had a good week!!  It's been so dry here in Ohio this Summer and my grass looks like straw~LOL  Anyway, here's my week in photos!  My sisters and I cleaned out my Dad's condo for his move into assisted living this week and we found this wonderful old picture of him and my Mom when they were so very young!! :-)  I love the look of happiness on their faces!!  I found a cicada shell in my backyard...yuck....they are some creepy looking bugs!  I lost five pounds..not all in one week(:-) and earned my 5 pounds gone badge with my fitbit account!! Yay for me!!  I tried the new refreshers at Starbucks, they are very good and not too many calories per serving and they give you a natural pick me up.  And I got to watch little baby girl, just me and her and of course Mr. Rico...:-)  Have a great week and enjoy the every moment of the Summer!!  It goes way to fast for me!!!

Monday Morning Photo Dump

Happy Monday!!!  Since I am so bad about posting anymore, I thought I would try something different here to keep my poor little blog current.  I am constantly on Instagram(kind of obsessed with it...LOL) and if you are on Instagram let me know so I can follow you...my name is gommy1 on it.  Anyway I thought I would do a photo dump of my past week each Monday of photos I took with my cell phone and put on Instagram.  It's kind of like my week in photos.  Of course this past week was filled with 4th of July goodness and sweet baby faces and a trip downtown to Cincy's Findlay Market! Here's a rundown of what I've been up to these past few months!!  I set up the new blogger layout for posting but haven't quite figured it all out yet, so my pictures are out of order.  Oh well, I guess I'm lucky I even got on my blog to even try to post these days!!  It's been very busy the past few months. The grands are all getting big and growing up way too fast for me. Would you guys just slow down a bit? I love having my little guys awhile longer!  :-)   My sisters and I went on a cruise with Karen Kingsbury. It was so much fun and if you have never read a Karen Kingsbury book, I highly recommend them.  Start with the Redemption series and go from there. You will be hooked. She is just as nice in person as I thought she would be. So gracious and kind and willing to take time with her fans. She brought Mandisa and Matthew West, Brit Nicole and Anthem Lights with her and the entertainment was fantastic. We had the best time.  And I was so excited to get to meet Kari again when she came in town to visit. The time goes so fast when ever she comes here and my sister June and I met her to go shopping and out to eat lunch.   Rico is getting big and is such a good kitty but boy is he a nosy little thing, he's always getting into stuff and always seems surprised when he falls or gets stuck somewhere.  LOL  And my poor sweet Dad has been in the hospital for almost 6 weeks now. He took a tumble in his condo and when we took him to hospital they found an infection in his feet, they had to amputate part of one of his feet.  It's tough when the parent becomes dependent. So we are looking for a safe nice place for him.  Very hard stuff but his safety is our biggest concern.  I can't believe  I got to meet Donna from Cottage Days and Journeys!!  I have pics but not sure if Donna wanted me to post them since she and her hubby like to be in back of the camera instead of in front of it!  :-) She's just as sweet and nice as you think she is and her hubby is pretty nice too.   Little Savannah was dedicated at our church this past weekend!  So that's about it in a quick nutshell...ha!!  Almost 4 months in one post. Hope everyone is doing great, I keep up with  most of you guys on Facebook but miss blogging.  Just wish I had more hours in the day to do everything!!
