A Few More Photos

It is hot, hot and steamy here in South Carolina this week. The humidity is really high and did I mention I straighten my hair everyday and as soon as I walk out the door it turns into a frizzy mess. LOL We are having fun and just hanging out enjoying our time. Last night we went to the beach to try and get some photos of my granddaughter Maddie for her two year old pictures. My daughter Melissa wanted some here instead of a studio. So here's a few we took. What do you guys think? Are there any that we could use for her two year old pictures? A two year old is in constant motion so it was very hard to get a decent shot of her, plus all she wanted to do is throw sand. LOL

It's little Sydney's turn for pictures tonight. Since she's only 3 1/2 months old, it might be hard. Sydney is doing so much better here in Hilton Head. Maybe she is just out growing the acid reflux/colic issues but when she smiles at you her whole face lights up.
We went to Sea Pines the other day to eat at the Crazy Crab and to climb to the top of the lighthouse there but they were working at the top of the lighthouse so we couldn't go up. Maddie had fun playing at their great playground there. Isn't this tree she's playing on cool? Here's the one and only photo of me on this trip so far. LOL I am usually the one taking the photos.

Here's the lighthouse at Sea Pines and the red rocking chairs they have set up all over the place for you to sit and relax. After lunch I took little Sydney out to these chairs to rock her. She loved sitting here and watching the action.

Okay, here's a question for all of you guys. Does anyone know what this bird is? He was sitting on top of our condo building one evening and was just watching everyone. We were in the swimming pool and I took a bunch of photos of him. Most of the photos were kind of blurry. After I took these I got to thinking that maybe he was a fake bird that the condo people set up there as a decoy and that I and the drunk guys who were a couple of floors below the bird were the only ones who thought he was real. The drunk guys were making bird noises at him, but I went back the next morning to look and there was no bird. Anyway you can click on the photos to make them bigger so if anyone knows what he is let me know. I've been looking for him every evening but he has not come back. Have a great day!

I like the second one best, and the one where she's looking out to sea. They're all beautiful though so a collage would be great too. I can't wait to see Sydney's.

Your photo with your sweetie is great!

The bird looks like a chicken hawk to me, but I've never been fortunate enough to actually get that close to one.

I love the first one and the third one. And the 4th one. And the second one's not too bad either. I can't make up my mind. LOL

That bird could be a Peregrine Falcon. Not that I would know one way or the other. I'm still laughing at the idea of you and the drunk guys thinking he was real if he really had been fake. Glad he did turn out to be a real one! LOLOL

I love them all, but the second one is so wonderful...her hair blowing and the sand falling from your hand. And it's fun to get to see you in a photo...you REALLY are there. LOL Good luck with photos of Sydney tonight.

Hugs!

Great pictures! I like the 2nd one of Maddie the best but they're all cute.

Love Crazy Crab! They have the best hushpuppies. What's the name of the guy who sings below the big tree down in Harbour Town? Greg Something? Is he still there? Is Big E, the Elvis impersonator, still at Coligny?
