Shhh....Quiet weekend ahead!

Shhhh....can you hear it? Listen carefully. Hear that, it's the sound of nothing. No where to run to, no parties to go to, nothing. Just doing whatever we want to do this weekend. We are watching our sweet little granddaughter tonight and we may take her out shopping. I have a giftcard that's been burning a hole in my wallet for weeks now and I have decision to make, should I buy something from here or something more practical like from here? Big decisions to be made this weekend. LOL I have my new People magazine and the new Karen Kingsbury book to read and I want to catch up on my blog reading, just a quiet and relaxing weekend. Also, don't forget I am starting the new year off next Travel Tuesday by going to Hawaii. What could be better then going to Hawaii in January? Now I may need your help if you want to that is. I have only been to Oahu and Maui and I plan on doing Kauai and the Big Island of Hawaii also in the next month. I am doing an island a week so if any of you guys have any photos you would want to share of your time on Kauai or the Big Island and don't mind me posting them, just send them to me. I'm sure I'll have no problems getting some photos of those two islands off the internet. Each island has it's own distinctive personality. Anyway, I am wishing you all a peaceful and relaxing weekend!

Sounds like a delightful weekend Joan. I'm still putting Christmas decorations away and trying to finish some errands that I should have done a while ago. But basically its going to be that kind of weekend for us too.

I didn't have a gift certificate but Bath and Body works had a great sale on Wallflowers! (scented plugins) I stocked up ;)
The house was smellin' musty...that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Sounds like a great weekend!

I actually have been to Hawaii, but only to Oahu, and when I was 18 and with a girlfriend(many many years ago) and was most interested in the best place to have fun and meet guys.

My parents went to Kauai years ago, they were in awe.

Someday, I hope to go back. I LOVED that place. Absolutely heavenly. And the best part is that you are still in the good ole USA.

Well, have fun using your gift cards. I had one that I spent the day after Christmas. I am NOT good at waiting. Money, and gift cards, definitely burn a hole in my pocket.

Oh, and I LOVE your new blog photo! Very pretty!!

Take Care!!
Irene

Hi Guys,

I'm afraid I might have confused some of you with my all over the place writing. Some of you guys already know I'm all over the place when I write these posts--sorry it's in my blood to write like this but it can be confusing. I am not going to Hawaii, I do a little travel post each week on tuesday on a different place and next week and for a few weeks it'll be Hawaii. Sorry I write in such a confusing manner. I'll work on that.
