Look who I found in my suitcase yesterday. Cleo was trying to hitch a free ride to Florida. LOL Actually, I think she was looking for a warm place in the sun and decided the suitcase would do. Sorry Cleo, you have to stay home this time.
Here are a few photos from the slumber party on Friday night. Maddie decided that Grandma's river rocks were the perfect things to play with. She played with these things for at least a half hour until she figured out that if she threw them on the hardwood floor they would make a great sound and that's when Gramps put an end to that fun. :-)
And she is totally obsessed with the keyboard from one of the big computers. So we took it off for her and she was in heaven. She comes over our house now and heads for the office to play with the keyboard. Maybe she'll be a future blogger. I'm finally off to walk at the park again after a short break because of weather. I don't mind walking in the cold but walking on ice and snow really scares me. And I signed up for knitting classes again and once again I am the only one to sign up so far. So I told them that if the knitting class doesn't work out to put me down for the crochet class. We shall see............... Have a great Monday!

Love the cat photo. Growing up, our cats always did the same thing. Was it because they knew we were leaving? Or just that the suitcase made a nice cozy nest?
Glad you had a great time with Maddie. I remember when my oldest started to get interested in keyboards. My husband tried to avert her by giving her an old keyboard to play with. Yeah, she was too smart and only wanted the one attached to the computer.
Did you hear the true story about the cat that went into the owner's suitcase and the owner didn't know it? it seemed that when the owner got to his destination that there were two pieces of luggage that were the same and some other guy picked up the owner's suitcase and boy was he surprised when he opened the luggage and out jumped a cat. They were able to get the cat and owner back together again.

I can't believe that no one is signing up for knitting classes! Do you have a knitting store in town where someone might be willing to give you a couple of free lessons to get you started? You should also look into a teach yourself to knit kit.
Our cat loves to sit in empty boxes or anything with sides (except his little kitty bed).
What a Beauty, Girl!!! Come by my place...you've been tagged!!LOL
I love River Rock and use it quite a bit in my summer flower plantings. She is so cute playing with them.
Yep, I do believe she is practicing to be a future blogger *wink*
Love that cat! She looks so much like my PeanutButter...have a great trip...sorry Cleo had to stay home, but she can come visit us...long as she brings Maddy with her!
hugs

Cute cute cute Maddie, as usual. My favorite "toy" at your house was always that jeweled fruit. That is, after you got rid of the ancient computer that had the painting game on it...
Love the post. The kitten photo is so cute...Mary

Adorable pictures - that little Mddie is such a cutie! I hope you had a good day Joan - see you later. Kellan
Cute photos!
Our cat (he died a few years ago) used to do that too. Anytime we got out our luggage, he would climb in. Now Miss Daisy follows us when we pack our luggage and when we put it in the car, she jumps in and won't come out. We finally have to crawl in and carry her out. Too funny!
Hugs!

Cute photos! I hope other sign up for the knitting class. I know you have been anxious to get knitting! Have a great time in Florida!
now a really good momma would let the kitty go on the trip with her... after all he doesn't take up much room...
sounds like you may have to buy a "learn how book" and just practice on your knitting until you eventually teach yourself...
also... love the pics of your grandbaby she looks like she will definitely become a blogger in no time at all!!!

What a great pic of your stowaway!
Your sweet girl looks like some found things to play with!
Can't wait to see why you knit or crochet! Two things I'd love to hear how to do.
have a great week.
blessings,
Sandy :)
