It's so cold................

Sandi and Kat got me hooked on Maxine. She's too funny! Today it's around 12 degrees outside so I thought this was a good one to post. It's suppose to be warmer next week, almost 60 degrees--yea! Okay, I promise no more weather whining for the whole winter. LOL

Hi, Joan...awww, look at that cute redbird over here. And I hear you about cold...it's in the 30's here now & that's pretty frigid for us.

Hang in there! Happy New Year, Joan! Thanks for your friendship this last year.

Very cute! You KNOW I LOVE Maxine!
This made me chuckle too since George and I walked this afternoon all bundled up with coats, scarves, gloves, etc. and I thought to myself "I might enjoy a hot flash or two if it gets any colder". So your cartoons was perfect today.

Hugs!
Kat

I promised that if we got some good cold weather I would not complain, so I won't. But the cats outside are complaining...I listen to them and take out warming blankets for them and soothe them...warm milk and hot blankets...they can't ask for better than that...lol

Loved this post...gotta love Maxine...she "tells it like it is"...and she can get by with it. I was feeling much the same way while we were in Colorado...the temp. got to a whopping 5 degrees the first night we were there...yes...then the next day it was in the teens...a virtual heat wave...It wasn't too bad...b/c we never were outside for too long...but it did inconveince us a tad bit while out shopping in a new little shopping village in Boulder...not a mall....but a village of sorts....loved it...except when we had to step outside to venture over to another store...but...we were such troopers...daughter and I...we didn't let a little "cold" snap hold us back!

Happy New Year to you and your family...sounds like you have a wonderful year all lined up...2 grand-babies....my oh my...I may have to ask you to share...I love babies!

Blessings in 08'
Teresa

BTW...I love the little "red" bird "cardinal" on your cursor...HOW do you DO that???? I love it!!

Ha! I was just thinking the same thing as I kicked the blankets off during a night sweat last night. Sigh.... the joys of getting older.
