Happy Friday!

Happy Friday everyone! Why do I have photos of me in Alaska on this post?? It's because I am giving a presentation tonight about cruising to Alaska! Yikes!!! No it'll be okay, it's my sister and her friends and they all want to do an Alaska cruise in 2010. This group likes to plan ahead so they are fun to work with. An Alaska cruise can be a little more complicated then a Caribbean cruise, there are many options to pick from so mainly I will be helping them pick a cruise that suits most of their needs. I am planning on going along with them next year because I loved Alaska when I went a few years ago. Alaska was a complete surprise for me, I knew going in that there would be beauty but I didn't know I would be completely blown away by the beauty of this wonderful state so I will be excited to go back with all of them and take it all in a second time. So I am bringing my scrapbook I made of my trip and hopefully they will be excited about this wonderful trip. My sweetie is not going to the presentation with me tonight, he has a hot date. HA! Maddie(our granddaughter) and him are making popcorn and watching the pig movie(Charlotte's Web) and she is spending the night. So busy, busy weekend! It's seems like all of our weekends for the next month are filled with holidays(Mother's Day), graduations, birthdays etc...... I need to write it all down to keep it straight. Anyway, Happy Mom's day to all the Mom's out there. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

I want to go TOO!!!!!! We took a small boat cruise with Cruise West on the inside passage about 10 years ago and would love to do it again! We think that small boat cruising is the BEST! You can get in close to see the sights (where the big ships can't go), you don't have to dress up for dinner, and the guests are pretty much just like us!

Have fun with your talk!

Oh I loved my cruise to Alaska about 15 years . That shocked me when I realized that its been that long ago. I went with my Mom. It was one of the last things we did together.
Wish I coul go again with my Hubby. Perhaps sometime...
Happy Mothers Day to you too and have a fun time with that sweet little munchkin of yours.

I do know how hard it is to keep up with blogging. This month has been super busy and I just don't seem to be getting to all my friends. Oh well, one thing and one day at a time.

We went on an Alaska cruise last year...we surprised my sister by joining them for her 75th birthday. Their kids, however, planned the ultimate surprise...they didn't appear until dinner the first night...her son-in-law donned a waiter's jacket and served her salad...I've NEVER been involved in such a happy, tear-filled surprise. We had a wonderful time together....best way for families of varying ages to holiday. Alaska is gorgeous, and for us starting in our own city made it so convenient.
