"The Helper"

This weekend was just beautiful in Ohio so on Saturday my workers came over to work on the "backyard project". Our son in law, Jamiel is the chief project engineer and his right hand person is Maddie. She loved helping her Daddy and she kept telling me"I help Daddy, Gommy". As you can see our backyard where the paver patio is going in is nothing but dirt right now but it will look wonderful when it's done. Here's some photos of Maddie(and Daddy) hard at work. LOL
Maddie is helping scope out the area where the patio will go. Look at how focus she is................

She was pretending to hammer down the posts just like Daddy was doing........She told me "I hammer, Gommy".

Look at the concentration as she holds that post nice and still..............

Helping Daddy tie it off............

Wrap around the string over and over............she loved this part....................

Do some measuring..........................

And then just stop in the middle of your work to blow bubbles.................LOL......Hey you mean you don't stop in the middle of working to blow bubbles????? Maybe we should all take lessons from 2 year olds in how to work. Hope everyone is having a great week, I think today might be the last of the nice warm weather we have been getting here but it still won't be too bad and Spring is just around the corner. Happy Tuesday and stop working so hard today and go out and blow some bubbles. :-)

Happy Birthday Joan! I hope it was a really wonderful day :)

Maddie is getting so big! Looks like she's having a blast too. I think I'll take notes from her and blow some bubbles myself ;)

Awwww, Maddie is such a cute little helper! She has the right priorities; we all need a break occasionally. I take a lot of them reading blogs. :)

I'm glad you had nice weather so your workers could be there! It's going to be a beautiful patio made with lots of love.

I think "blowing bubbles" should be incorporated into EVERY day! Maddie has it right...and she's so stinkin' adorable...I love how she and her dad work together...it reminds me of our daughter when she was a little girl...she just wanted to hang out w/daddy whenever she could...no matter what it was they were doing...fishing, gardening, working in the yard...just time w/daddy...was all she needed...isn't it awesome to have such a man in your life!

Blessings...

Maybe that needs to be introduced to the national recovery plan.
Bubbles for everyone!

She is previous, and I am sure everybody had fun working with her. Have you seen the yard tools at Walmart for little ones? I bought the hoe, rake and hand tools for my grandson. He is just 1 yr old so they probably won't be used until next year. They are cheap, so I went ahead and bought them.
