Brenda is our hostess for Brenda's Photo Challenge this week and the theme is " The Eyes Have It". Thanks Brenda, I had alot of fun putting together these shots. Go here to see all who's playing today. These first two shots are of the peacocks when we were at the zoo the other day. I swear this one was stalking us. Weird looking creatures but beautiful, they almost look like they have a crown on their heads.
Here's Cleo's (my kitty)eyes. Do you know how hard it was to get her to sit still for this photo? LOL She would not cooperate and then she decided to doze off. How does a cat fall asleep while standing up? That is a question I would like answered. LOL
So then I had the first few shots I wanted but couldn't think of anything else to use and then I look across the room the other day while folding laundry and I see this big orange guy staring at me with these really goofy looking eyes, so Elmo became my next victim.
Talk about victims............LOL This chocolate bunny was the next one on my list to take a photo of, then I bit his head off. Well first it was his ears and then his head. Anyway, I thought these last two were fun and taking pictures should be all about having fun! Can't wait to see everyone's photos for this challenge! Happy Saturday!

The goofy ones make me laugh out loud! Hahahaha!!! I added a goofy one too at the last minute. Yep, photography is all about having fun! And you did a great job with Cleo and Mr. Peacock! Bravo, my dear!
Your peacock pictures are so crisp and capture the detail so well. I think cats can do what they like really and I love those aloof eyes. I especially love the goofy eyes on elmo. Very entertaining. Thank you.
Wow, the colors on the peacock are amazing! Great job on capturing your cat's eyes as well; it is so hard to get them to be still long enough.

Aren't those peacocks just magnificent? You caught their unusual coloring and texture perfectly! I love cat eyes, it was definitely worth the effort. And I am so glad you included Elmo! He is perfect. And sorry to hear the news about the bunny... may he rest in peace.
Cleo and the Peacock are wonderful! How did you manage to get that close to the peacock? I love the funny ones too Elmo is a favorite around here. Poor little chocolate bunny, all that posing and then he got eaten.

I completely understand how hard it is to get animals to stay still long enough to take a picture. I have a few that know when I am trying to take a pic of them and always turn their head in the opposite direction.
The peacock pictures are gorgeous and of course I love kitties.
Well done Joan...love those photos, esp the peacock...and Elmo of course. Reminds me I should have put in Gromit (from Wallace and Gromit) I may go back and do that!

Gorgeous photos...all of them...but my favorite one is the chocolate bunny, of course. LOL!
We're stuck here in the airport in Palm Desert due to high winds. Looks like we'll be spending another night here. Great, just great! George is in line trying to find us a way home tomorrow. It's Spring Break so it's crazy hard. The only good thing...I can blog away on my laptop. LOL

Oh, just perfect pictures! That Elmo one and the easter bunny made me laugh. I love the kitties eyes. Your Cleo looks a lot like my Little Bit. They are so photogenic! And the peacocks are so beautiful.

Oh, I love Elmo! And, that peacock is so beautiful. I love the color. I'm amazed you were able to get that shot of your kitty. All the cats I owned were not too cooperative with photos, though I got some good pics once in a while.
