Happy Groundhog's Day!

Today's Groundhog Day and one step closer to Spring. I heard Phil the groundhog seen his shadow this morning so that means six more weeks of Winter. Ah, who believes a groundhog anyway? LOL I flipped my calendar over to February yesterday and just had to smile when I seen the three grandbabies looking back at me. I will make a point of looking at this every morning just to put a smile on my face for the day. :-)

I made it to Target this weekend after being stuck in the house from the ice and snow storm! YEA!! You have to love their dollar section. I found these little mailboxes and I am decorating them for the grandbabies for Valentines Day and filling them with little goodies. I put some puffy stickers on them and am going to put some ribbons on them too because these three little guys are my favorite valentines(I know my sweetie won't be upset by that because he feels the same way about the grandbabies).

And then I went to Michael's where I found these cute little Easter plastic jars to fill up for the kiddies. Aren't they so cute? I think I'll probably put some puffs(little tiny cereal like food for toddlers) for Cameron and Sydney since they are so young and maybe some M & M's for Miss Maddie because she loves them. Is it too early to think about Easter? LOL

My sweetie and I went to see Taken this weekend. It was a pretty good thriller. Liam Neeson was really good in this. And the girl who played his daughter(Maggie Grace from Lost) was good too. We both walked out of there and said our girls were never going to Paris by themselves ever................you'll know what I mean if you see the movie(I don't want to give away the plot).

And I recieved this great award from Wibeche from Beautiful Days. Thanks you so much for thinking of me Wibeche. If you have never visited Wibeche and her family go here now and visit her. She is so sweet and welcoming and I am happy that I am getting to know her better.

Anyway,I hope everyone has a great Groundhog's Day(don't you just love the movie with Bill Murray?). I am off for a much needed hair appointment today, the gray is totally taking over and it needs a cut badly. I am also behind in my blog reading again, I just can't figure out how to fit it all in sometimes but I love you guys and will be around soon! Happy Monday!

I wanted to shoot the groundhog when I heard he'd seen his shadow this morning. I'm not sure I'll survive 6 more weeks of being cold.

I love the goodies that you found for your babies. I haven't even thought of Valentines Day yet with all the birthdays we've had and a couple coming up this month. Guess I'd best get on the ball, huh?
