This Eating Has Got To Stop!

Yes, I ate some of that Red Velvet cake the other night when we all went out to eat at Bucca Di Beppo. It wouldn't have been so bad that I ate some of it but there were about four other desserts about the same size that I also decided I needed to try and that after eating ravioli and meatballs etc.... my scales are not happy right now. I went to Weight Watchers last week and learned about their new momentum program but maybe I should have waited until this week to start the new program. Ughhh................. Oh well, it's a new day and a new start, right???? Anyway, here's some photos of our dinner out the other night. The top one is of our daughter Melissa(aka SAS and Buttons Mom) and our niece Stephanie.

This is Sas and our daughter Christina with baby Jaycee(on the left) and her Mom, Melissa.

Sas(aka Sydney) waiting for some food. Chubby cheeks look good on her not on Grandma.

This is a self portrait by Maddie. LOL Maddie loves my camera and takes it away from me any chance she gets. She mostly takes photos of her hand but she actually got one of her face. After she takes a photo, she always says "wow".

This is our nephew Tim with his daughter Jaycee and Melissa(there's two Melissa's, our daughter and Jaycee's Mom).

This is my brother-in-law Steve and his girlfriend Pat and Pat's Mom.

This is my brother-in-law Jim and my mother-in-law Lynn. My sweetie has three brothers and one sister and in my family I have three sisters and had one brother.

This is my sister-in-law Karen and her boyfriend Doug. When my sweetie and I started dating back in 1972, she was just a little thing.

This is our daughter Christina and her boyfriend Troy. It was fun but this was our second time there in two weeks and if you have ever been to Bucca's then you know how big the family style eating is. Anyway, hope everyone has a good week, the furnace guy is here working on our furnace this morning. I think it just needed a good cleaning. I am working getting documents in order for a group of nuns that I have booked on this Tauck Hawaii tour. The nuns were about the sweetest group I have ever worked with. They are all so excited about what they keep telling me is their trip of a lifetime. I am so glad they picked Tauck for their tour because Tauck is always a pleasure to deal with and I don't have to worry about the ladies on their trip because I know they will getting the best attention. I wish I could tag along in their suitcases! Well, I better get moving, have a good one!

Love the pictures - you have such a great family!

Is that "a" piece of cake or is it the whole thing? WOW, that's a hunk unless you somehow enlarged it. hahaha

I always wanted to be a Nun, now I know why. They have fun!

1) I look so chubs in that picture of Melissa and me. No more wearing my frizzy hair in that style!
2) Until I read the caption, I thought that it was me holding Sassy, not TeeTee! We really do look alike from behind. I think her hair might even be darker than mine, though.
3) It seems that my dad and I (and Grams) are the only ones without significant others. Interesting.
4) I LOVE JOAN'S JOURNEYS! :)

Gosh Joannie, I went into sugar overload just looking at this! Course the sweet babies pushed me over the top...I'm officially watching my carb intake as of last week...and I'm hoping to take off about fifteen pounds in the mean time! Hope 2009 is going to be great to you and your family...it's a mighty lovely family!

Sweet family pictures! Yes, the eating has got to slow down. We're already cutting back.

Ooooh, a Tauck tour! This last trip with them was our 7th! We're Tauck groupies, LOL. They know how to treat you right! Do you work at a travel agency?

Sweet family pics...and a sweet family, to boot. Loved Maddie's self-picture...maybe you have a budding photographer on your hands.

Loved the story of the nuns...I'll pray that they DO have the trip of a lifetime.

Blessings...

I finally made it back to a WW meeting. I'd missed 2 because I was sick. I was shocked to see how many people were there! The last meeting I went to had about 8 or 9 people there. THIS meeting had over 50 people. New Year's Resolutions going on I guess, eh? It was good to see a crowd, though. I hope they all do well.

How'd you do? How's it been going for you? I'm doing a post Wednesday about my WW experience (including the "changing of my goal").

Loved all the pictures of your family. Everyone looks like they are having a blast. Nothing like dinner out with a crowd to make your spirits high, if you ask me. (And yeah, those darn desserts can really ruin things for you, can't they? lol)
