Jambalaya of Stuff!

This post has everything in it and that's why I am calling it the jambalaya post. Hey, it makes perfect sense to me. LOL I received these two great awards recently and I haven't had a chance to thank Wibeche for giving them to me. Thank you so much Wibeche for these great awards. Go and visit her and her sweet little girls.

I also got a new toy and tried it out on Cleo this afternoon. I took a deep breath and bought myself a Nikon D80. I've been sitting on the fence about getting one for about a year and just saved my money and decided to get it. These are my first attempts at using it so please don't be too hard on me, there's alot I need to learn. I also want to thank my good buddy Donna and her hubby from Cottage Days and Journeys for helping me with my decision. I think it was a good choice for me and now maybe I can catch those little grandbabies in some photos because they move so dang gone fast.

I'm still fighting the dizziness stuff. I did the exercises and had some relief on Saturday and then I did them again Saturday night and boy was I dizzy all day Sunday. I decided to sit around and read blogs and watch Mama Mia all Sunday afternoon. Watching Mama Mia always lifts my spirits. Today's a little better but if it doesn't improve by Weds., the doc wants to see me again. I hope it is gone by this weekend because my sweetie and I are going in search of something we have heard still exists but since we haven't seen it in awhile we are anxious to find out. I'm talking about the SUN! LOL We are going to sunny Florida for a few days. He has to go there on business and I get to tag along. Yea for tag alongs! One more thing in this jambalaya post, we went to see Gran Torino with Clint Eastwood this weekend and we both thought it was a good movie. I don't want to give anything away in case you go and see it but Clint Eastwood's acting is superb! Have a great week and now I have to go because I have this weird craving for jambalaya!
Edited to add: I just realized that the way the sentence reads above looks like we went to the movie with Clint Eastwood. LOL Yea, I'm sure Mr. Eastwood would have loved to go with us but I meant he was in the movie. I should watch how I phrase things sometimes. :-)

WOW, look at those great pictures! Don't you just LOVE that D80?! I am so happy for you!!!!!!! Thank you for your gracious comments about me and hubby. We like to help our friends out on things like that. Photography can be a total joy with the right equipment.

I am so sorry that the dizzies are still attacking you. "Grrrr" on those stupid rocks rolling around in your head. The exercise is not an instant fix, so keep doing them. I still have dizzies, but at least I can walk a straight line now, LOL.
