So my granddaughter Maddie had her first dance recital this weekend!! Oh boy, it was alot of fun. She was just out there having a good time and waving to her adoring fans(all of us) and I swear we were the loudest people there cheering her on. Hahaha......One of these little girls balloon went up into the rafters and that was end of dancing for her after that. LOL It was a great weekend. Here's a few pictures of her dancing!
Also just wanted to tell you I am very excited because I am going on a journey soon!! Yea!! it's been so long since I went away and I am a person who has always loved to travel but this past year kind of put a hold on all of that and for a long time I didn't want to leave my familiar surroundings. So I'm going a cruise with my best buddy Vicki. It's really kind of a working thing for me. It's a seminar at sea for travel agents but I love the cruise line we are going on(Royal Caribbean) and I love learning new things about the travel industry. They give us plenty of time to see the sights and most of the class is spent when the ship is at sea. Not sure if I'll be able to blog or twitter or facebook while I'm there because I'll be out of the country(they have internet on the ship but will have to check out pricing, don't want a surprise high bill at the end of cruise)! Haha.....I'll probably have some kind of withdrawal from being so connected all the time!! Hope everyone is doing well! Happy Monday!! P.S. Totally off the subject but does anyone have a flip video camera? I'm thinking of getting one to take with me and just to have for when the grandkids come over and was wondering if anyone had one and what you thought of it!!
