My Snowmen were happy...........

We had our first snow of the season yesterday. It was only a dusting but you would have thought it was more, the schools were on delays and there were multiple car accidents. My little snowmen loved it!! Hope everyone is staying nice and warm and safe where ever you are. I think I am done Christmas shopping, thank goodness because I hate going to the mall this time of year if I don't have to go. A special thanks to everyone who has emailed me with encouragement at this time of year, the holidays can be tough when you had a bad year and in general sometimes. I think expectations run high for the holidays and it's just not reality for some people. So I'm focusing on the reason for the season and have been telling the Christmas story to my three year old granddaughter Maddie. So MERRY CHRISTMAS blogging friends and I hope it's a special time for you and your family!

Yes, the snow wasn't much yesterday, but it sure did mess things up for awhile. I had a Doctor's appointment and work and the driving wasn't much fun. But it was pretty for awhile. Glad it was melted when I got off though, but for a much easier drive home.

Blessings to you and yours.

I love your little snowmen..they are so cute! I know what you mean about the first snow. Last night they were announcing school closings for today and we hadn't even gotten any snow yet. This morning it was a dusting! Sheesh! You'd think this was Florida or something!

I love your snowmen Joan. If you'd like more snow I'd be happy to send some of ours. It's not going anywhere anytime soon with the temps we're having.

I've been thinking about you. Holidays are hard anyway, but especially when times are tough. Hang in there sweet friend. You are strong.

Hugs!
