I just want to thank all of you guys for all of your love and prayers as I go through this hard time. You will never know how much they mean to me. I hesitated to even put my last post up there but the truth is that sometimes life is hard and sometimes we need to be honest and say we are having a rough time. So many of you have sent me private emails and are checking in on me and I really appreciate it. And through it all I see God's hand on me and that is where I put my hope and trust. But life being life goes on and this weekend was all about little Miss Sydney and her first haircut and birthday party. Anyone who reads my blog knows how crazy I am for my little grandbabies and her first birthday party and haircut were fun to watch. Here's a few pics of the big events! I will be around to visit soon, I really miss seeing what you are all up too!
Thanks again for everything. I said this before but am still blown away by the fact that even though I have never met any of you guys in "real" life I feel like you are my friends and I hope that someday we do get to meet in the "real" world!
Here's Sydney getting her first haircut. It was a beautiful day outside so she got her first haircut on her back deck from Aunt Christina!

It's so good to see you here this morning, Joan. The pictures are adorable. The good Lord and those precious little ones give us the added strength, I think, to persevere if at all possible.
Take care, and thanks for sharing the weekend in pictures. ((((hugs))))
I love seeing your Happy, Happy, babies!
Do what you need to do Miz Joan, we aren't going anywhere.
Hey, sweet Joan! Would you look at that darling baby! LOL, and with the traditional face full of smeared cake! Love that pic of the birthday girl, your hubby, and pretty YOU! I hope that your hubby is doing OK after that car accident.
