First Smiles for Grandma from Baby Sydney

Okay guys, can you stand two more grandbabies photos?? LOL I know I have posted alot about my grandbabies in the past few weeks (months) but these photos just made me smile and baby Sydney too. Grandma (me) has been working hard to get Sydney to smile. I smile so much at her that my face hurts sometimes (I'm not kidding). :-) And my family has been teasing me because I work so hard getting her to smile. Look at these cute first smiles, I love the first one and how the smile covers her whole face. Okay this is it, I promise not to post any more photos of grandbabies this week!! LOL But these are soooooooooooo cute....................

An Award and Cam's Baptism!

I received this great award from Christine at Epiphany Prayer and Debra at The Bunny's Bungalow. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I love it and it's such a pretty one too. My little grandson Cameron was baptized this weekend. Here's a few photos. This photo was right after he was baptized. Isn't he just the cutest little guy??? I'm not partial in the least. LOL He's such an easy going little guy, he just smiled and looked around. That's my son Jimmy and Allison in the background. Thanks to my brother in law Dennis for this photo. He takes some great photos!
Then we went over Allison's parents house for a party and had a great time. That cake had whipped icing on it, talk about yummy. LOL
They had a huge back yard and Maddie was having a ball running around. It was a beautiful night, the rain had gone from the day before and it was perfect for sitting around outside.
This was not the photo I originally wanted to post but I decided to post it anyway. Allison parents had a pitching machine and the boys were having a good time catching the fly balls, so was Maddie. They were just tennis balls so no one could get hurt. That's Maddie, Papa and Maddie's daddy(also known as Jamiel) in the photo. That's it for tonight, hope you are having a wonderful evening.

I think I have Officially Lost It!

This is what I seen when I looked down at my feet this morning. Look closely there are two pink sandals but they are two different pink sandals. One is my hang around the house sandal and the other is my pretty bling bling sandal. I got up this morning and went to my closet and just grabbed them. LOL In my defense I hadn't had my coffee yet nor did I have my glasses on or had my contacts in. The funny thing is Mike never noticed either and I walked around like this for awhile. So yep I have officially lost it............. Still trying to catch up with everyone's blogs and I got an award!! Yea!! I'll try to post about it tomorrow and pass it on.

A Cool and Wet 4th!

Well, it was a wet and cool 4th here in Cincy. I don't think the temperature topped 75 degrees all day. We even had all the windows opened. It was the coolest 4th that I can remember in a long time. No swimming this year because of the rain and cool temps but hopefully it'll warm up next week. Our pool temp is 72 degrees, which is really cold for this time of year. I tried to take some photos of fireworks but they didn't turn out well. Does anyone know the secret to taking good fireworks photos?


Here's a photo of our Grandson Cameron and Papa. Look at that stylin' little guy in his patriotic shirt and plaid shorts. Cameron is being baptized today so it's another busy day.

And here are our two little granddaughters, Maddie and Sydney in their patriotic shirts. Baby YA Ya(that's what Maddie calls Sydney) doesn't look too happy. LOL

Only Maddie loved the rain. LOL She thought the puddles were great fun to jump in. Looks like Christina thought the same thing.

I thought this photo was cute, it looks like Mama and Maddie are on their own computers. Maddie is actually watching a portable DVD player and Mama is using Grandma's computer. Can you see how I have decorated the front of my laptop? LOL And little Sydney is sound asleep in between. Hope everyone had a safe and good 4th. I'm behind on my blog reading but hopefully I'll be able to catch up with everyone in the next few days!

Happy 4th of July!! I finally found a graphic that's not too big(see post below this). It's raining here in Cincy but the weather man is telling me that it won't be a total wash out. I hope not because we are having people over to grill out. :-) Have a wonderful and safe holiday!!

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of JULY!! I love this holiday. I know I am a day early but we have alot going on this weekend. Our three kids have been having their friends over on the 4th to grill out and swim for years. It's funny because when they first started to come over to celebrate the 4th, they were all single people coming to celebrate and then as the years passed they started to bring their new girlfriends/boyfriends/spouses and now there seems to be a mini baby boom so there will be alot of babies here. So it's off to Kroger's today to get some goodies for the grill out and I'm keeping my fingers crossed because the weather forecast is calling for thunderstorms, which could put a damper on the celebration. On Saturday our grandson Cameron is being baptized so it's a busy weekend!
Don't forget about Brenda's Photo Challenge for Friday July 11th. Karen from Faith of a Single Mom is our hostess and she has picked the theme of PATRIOTISM or WHAT I LOVE ABOUT MY COUNTRY. I love this theme and I think this could be a very creative photo challenge. Anyway go here and tell Karen if you want to play along.
Have a wonderful 4th and if you have time go out and rent the HBO John Adams dvd, it is so good and a great movie to watch on the 4th!
P.S. Don't know why my pretty graphic is only showing part of it but I didn't see that until I posted it and I don't have time to search for a smaller one. LOL It's cute though, right??

Introducing.................

America's next top models or maybe famous little people. First off there is Cameron, the nonchalant ladies man, then there is Sydney, the girl next door, and finally there's Maddie, your typical diva. People magazine offered me millions to be the first to showcase these cuties but I said no. The photos have been distorted a little because of those pesky paparazzi. You know they are always waiting outside my door hoping to get a shot of my grandbabies.
LOL Just having some fun this morning. Here are some of the photos from the photo session, the photos are distorted a bit because they don't want you to copy them or print them at home. No worries, I am not doing anything illegal here, we bought enough from the photographer to make them happy. LOL The last two in black and white are the ones I bought. I already have a black and white of Cameron and I wanted to do a display on my wall of all our grandbabies in black and white. I am so hoping everyone can make it to Hilton Head when we go in September and I can get some family photos but because of work and school schedules that might not happen.
Anyway, I better go and put everyone in their disguises for the day while we make a trip to Baby Gap. Those paparazzi even follow us to the Gap.
