How To Enjoy A Glorious Spring Day!

BY MADDIE!

First you work really hard collecting all of your sidewalk chalk and moving it from one place to another. Hey, this is really hard work people!
Then you inspect your vehicle and make sure it is in perfect working order.
Then after all of that hard work it is time for a treat!
And you really enjoy the treat.....................
I mean REALLY enjoy the treat...................
And then you look at Grandma and Mommy about every two seconds and say hmmmmmm.........with a big smile
That was the best treat ever. Don't you just love how little kids enjoy the moment? Enjoy every moment of this Thursday!

Having Fun At Grandma's

First you take a nap with Cleo. Cleo has her own throw to sleep on because she has likes to sleep on Grandma's cream couch and Grandma hates cleaning all that cat hair. :-)

Then it's time to play with sidewalk chalk on a beautiful Spring day. What more can a little girl ask for?

I Love Snow!

Okay, second post for the day. There is one below this because blogger would not let me upload these photos earlier until I tricked him. LOL I just wanted to post some photos of my granddaughter Maddie enjoying all of the snow we got here in Cincy over the weekend. Her Mommy told me she loved it and she was not too happy when they had to bring her in from playing outside. I love that first photo! Okay, that's it for today. I am off to get some highlights and gray taken out of my hair. My sweetie doesn't understand the need for this procedure every eight weeks. What's not to understand????? LOL

Having Fun With Grandma's Pitties (Pretties)

Maddie & I got into my old jewelry armoire and had a blast yesterday. Well, first she had to try on Grandma's shoes and walk around in them and laugh. And then I showed her the jewelry armoire with all of my old costume jewelry, you would have thought we hit the mother lode. Her face lit up like a Christmas tree and she kept saying pittie (translated it means pretties). She especially liked my old She Beads. Does anyone remember She Beads? I used to love them around five years or so ago. I wasn't even sure if Sandy was still in business, but it looks like she is doing well and has lots of new designs. Anyway, we had fun and she wore them home to show her Daddy how pitti she looked in them. So Grandpa and I are going to babysit tonight while Mommy and Daddy have a date night. We are taking Maddie to the Mall, she loves going to the Mall. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

The Zoo!

Maddie thought these little guys were so funny! I think they are Lemurs.
Maddie & Mommy at the Gorilla exhibit. I really tried to get the picture of the Mama Gorilla with her baby on her back but she kept moving in and out of the shots.
Maddie just loved the Manatees. I almost got in trouble in here because I couldn't figure out how to get my flash to stop working. You are not allowed to use flash with your camera in here. My camera is kind of complicated, so I keep it on one setting. Look at her face, pure delight.
And just because I think these guys are the cutest! They are some kind of Penguins from Australia.

We had a great day at the Cincinnati Zoo today. Maddie loved all of the animals. I think she thought some of the big cats were like her kitties back at home. But the Manatees were by far her favorite. The weather stayed beautiful until we were leaving the Zoo and then it started to rain, so that was a blessing. If you are ever in Cincinnati, you should make the trip to our zoo, we have a wonderful zoo. And for anyone who really cares, my good hair day ended when the rain started. LOL I'll be back tomorrow with Travel Tuesday but it might not be until later because I have a work thing. Work just keeps interfering with my fun, but isn't that the way it always is? :-)

Look What My Grandma Got For Me!

I could not resist this pink popcorn popper or noise maker for my granddaughter Maddie. She thinks it funny but doesn't quite understand you need to push it along to make the noise. She picks it up and hands it to me or her Mommy. She had one picked out that counted out loud but when Grandma seen the pink one, well you know Grandma & pink..... For some reason Mommy wanted the pink popcorn (NOISE) maker to stay at Grandma's. I wonder why?
