Hilton Head Snow!

This is a picture of one of my very favorite places to go. This is Harbour Town, Hilton Head Island on December 23rd, 1989. I don't think they see much snow in Hilton Head. My sweetie and I received this print as a gift and I framed it and put it in my office. You can see the lighthouse in the background. They really did have a white Christmas that year, but I bet it didn't last long. I'll be back later on, I've been really busy with work so I need to get a few things done. Have a great Monday!

We got a fresh dusting of snow this morning. It really helps to put me in the Christmas mood - and the skiing mood!

I think we sat in one of those chairs in July and it was very hot!! That is so funny about the snow in Hilton Head. Wish I was there right now! Bill wants an italian ice from Rita's - ha, ha!!

I don't think it lasted all that long either. But I'm sure they enjoyed every minute of it!

Love,
Julie

I can see why you framed it, Joan - it is beautiful. I want to be there - with the snow! Hope you had a good weekend. Kellan

Nice picture. Hey, got your card today! Now THAT's a REALLY nice picture! And I'm not seeing the awful handwriting on the envelope, Joan. Or maybe I'm so used to seeing my own chicken scratch that I don't know good handwriting from bad! lol Thank you so much for the holiday greetings, though! I appreciate them very much.
Merry Christmas,
Kari

Hi Joan. My sister Irene just sent me your blog. I love the picture, and Hilton Head. I can't wait to show this to my kids when they get home from school today. I get chills just thinking about going there next summer!
